We were talking to our sister last week, and we told her we met this cool lady last week, when we were at the bar.
The woman was talking about her odd girlfriend, and asked if we had ever had a girlfriend who just wanted a proposal. Our sister said there were all kinds of chicks out there, and that was why she was still single. They both worked at the same Heating and A/C company, and went out for a drink after work, about once a week after that. Two weeks later, we were waiting for our partners to show, and our sister was still there. We asked her to answer the door if someone knocked. We heard our sister talking to someone, and we ran down the steps. Our partners were sitting there looking at us like we had grown 2 heads, and she looked like she was ready to kill. We asked if everything was okay, and our sister said she had to go. She had an Heating and A/C emergency call, but to tell dad she would be back later. Our partners smiled and bent to kiss our cheeks. We asked how she knew my sister. She said she didn’t, but we could tell my sister knew who she was. She told us they had met in a bar one evening. They both worked for the Heating and A/C company. We blanched, but then we smiled and looked in her eyes. We asked if she was the crazy chick who only wanted a proposal? She started to answer, but then she realized I knew she was talking to my sister. She tried to tell me it was just a joke, but I was already pushing him out the door.
