Before summer time started last year, we had the a/c unit serviced and the Heating and A/C professional did some minor repairs.
She told us we would need a new a/c unit before this summer. The A/C unit worked well all summer, but we were always waiting for something to go wrong. During the winter, we were looking into every sale the Heating and A/C company posted. We were hoping to find a new a/c unit before it was time to have the old A/C unit replaced. Earlier this year, we called the Heating and A/C company and asked them if they had some leftover a/c units. They sent an Heating and A/C professional to the home to measure the house, so we could get the right tonnage. After they got all their prices, the Heating and A/C professional came to the home and looked at our a/c unit. She looked at us oddly and asked if we were sure we wanted to replace the a/c unit. She said there was nothing wrong with the one we were using. Both of us frowned and looked at her like she was nuts. Are you sure the a/c unit is okay? The Heating and A/C professional wanted to know who told us it wasn’t. We told her it was one of their Heating and A/C professionals. We pulled out the paperwork and handed it to her. She groaned and asked if she could make a copy of the paperwork. The owner of the Heating and A/C company called us about an hour later. She told us the man who had checked our a/c unit was no longer with their company.
